The Hero Vida VX2 electric scooter arrives in India as a compelling budget‑friendly EV option in 2025, featuring innovative Battery‑as‑a‑Service (BaaS) pricing. Designed for daily urban commuting, it offers swappable batteries, fast charging, smart connectivity, and competitive performance—all packaged in a stylish form that aligns with Hero’s sustainability roadmap.

Engine & Performance

The VX2 Go variant runs on a 2.2 kWh swappable battery delivering an IDC‑tested range of 92 km and a top speed of 70 km/h, accelerating 0‑40 km/h in 4.2 seconds. The VX2 Plus steps it up with dual 3.4 kWh packs, extending range to 142 km, boosting top speed to 80 km/h, and trimming sprint time to 3.1 seconds. The powerful 6 kW PMS motor offers peppy city performance with decent hill‑climbing capability.

Fast charging is supported, with 0‑80% refresh in ~60 minutes via public DC fast chargers; home charging (580 W) takes around 3 h 53 m on the Go and 5 h 39 m on the Plus.

Chassis & Handling

Both variants ride on 12‑inch alloy wheels with telescopic front forks and mono‑shock rear suspension, delivering a stable ride on urban roads. The VX2 Go features a front drum brake and combi‑brake system, while the Plus adds a front disc for enhanced stopping power. Underseat storage measures 33.2 L (Go) and 27.2 L (Plus) due to battery placement differences.

Technology & Features

The Vida VX2 arrives well‑loaded: cloud connectivity, smartphone integration, turn‑by‑turn navigation, live ride data, remote immobilisation, OTA updates, LED lighting, and USB charging are standard. The Go variant uses a 4.3‑inch LCD, while the Plus gets a sharper 4.3‑inch TFT display. Multiple riding modes—Eco and Ride on Go; Eco, Ride, and Sport on Plus—let riders customize their experience.

Price & Subscription Model
