Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL) has officially launched the updated 2025 Suzuki Access 125 scooter in the Indian market. The popular 125cc scooter now comes with a host of new features, including a new top-spec Ride Connect TFT variant priced at ₹1,01,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi), which translates to approximately ₹1.02 lakh. This new iteration aims to enhance its appeal with modern technology and a fresh aesthetic touch.

What's New in the 2025 Suzuki Access 125?

The most significant upgrade in the 2025 Suzuki Access 125 is the introduction of a new Ride Connect TFT variant. This top-of-the-line model boasts a 4.2-inch full-colour TFT digital instrument cluster. This advanced console offers Bluetooth connectivity, enabling a range of features such as:

  • Turn-by-turn navigation
  • Call and SMS alerts
  • WhatsApp notifications
  • Weather updates
  • Phone battery level indicator
  • Estimated time of arrival (ETA)

In addition to the technological advancements, the 2025 Access 125 also introduces a new Pearl Mat Aqua Silver colour option, adding to the existing palette which includes Metallic Mat Black No. 2, Metallic Mat Stellar Blue, Pearl Grace White, and Solid Ice Green. Some reports also indicate the name has been updated to "2025 Suzuki Access," dropping the "125" from its name for this new model, although it retains its 125cc engine.

Engine, Performance, and Mileage

The 2025 Suzuki Access 125 continues to be powered by the tried-and-tested 124cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) technology. This engine is now OBD-2B compliant, adhering to the latest emission norms. It delivers a maximum power output of approximately 8.3 bhp (or 8.42 PS / 6.2 kW) at 6500 rpm and a peak torque of 10.2 Nm at 5000 rpm. The engine is paired with a smooth CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission).

Suzuki claims a mileage of around 45-46 kmpl for the Access 125, making it a fuel-efficient option for daily commuting. The scooter also features a slightly larger fuel tank with a capacity of 5.3 litres.

  • Special Edition: Priced around ₹90,187 - ₹90,500 (ex-showroom)
  • Ride Connect Edition (with LCD console): Approximately ₹95,174 (ex-showroom)

The new Ride Connect TFT variant sits at the top of the range, costing around ₹6,800 - ₹7,000 more than the Ride Connect Edition with the LCD console. On-road prices will vary depending on the city and state. For instance, the on-road price for the new top variant in Delhi is estimated to be around ₹1.18 lakh.

The overall design silhouette of the Access 125 remains familiar, retaining its classic and widely accepted appeal. Subtle design tweaks include neat creases and contours on the rear panels and a redesigned headlight and tail light in some interpretations for a more premium look.
