Ola Electric Opens Its 500th Service Centre In India

The 500th service centre of Ola Electric in India has been inaugurated in Kochi, Kerala, which is now its biggest service centre in Southern India. 

• Ola intends to expand its reach by opening more service centres in the coming months.
• There are three electric scooters from Ola Electric on sale in India right now – S1X, S1 Air and S1 Pro.
• Since its debut, Ola Electric has worked on improving service and quality concerns of its scooters. 

The leading player in electric two-wheelers in India, Ola Electric achieved the milestone of opening up its 500th service centre in India. Located in Kochi, Kerala, this 500th service centre of Ola Electric is the largest one in South India. This new service centre adds to the vast service network of Ola Electric, with its electric scooters competing with names like Ather 450X, TVS iQube and Bajaj Chetak.

Ola Electric made a much-talked-about debut in 2021 with the S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters, which became the country’s largest-selling electric two-wheeler. However, since its debut, the road to success was not smooth for Ola electric scooters, which faced several service and quality issues in the initial days after their launch. However, Ola Electric has gradually worked on those issues and introduced more mechanical and software updates while expanding its service network. 

All the service outlets of Ola Electric are equipped for scheduled maintenance of all the models offered by the company in India, which include S1X, S1 Air and S1 Pro. Ola recently slashed the prices of its most affordable offering, the S1X, which is available with three battery options. While the S1 Air serves as the mid-spec version with added features, the S1 Pro is the flagship model with all bells and whistles and the most advanced powertrain motor and battery options from the company.
