Royal Enfield Sales Performance April 2023: Growth In Domestic Sales, Decline In Exports

Royal Enfield sold 73,136 units in April 2023, out of which 68,881 units were sold in the domestic markets and 4,255 units were shipped as exports.
- The YoY growth for Royal Enfield stood at 27.91 per cent, the MoM growth was 15.02 per cent.
- The overall exports by Royal Enfield dropped by 48.71 per cent in YoY and 65.55 per cent in MoM sales.
- Classic 350 continues to be the highest-selling Royal Enfield model, despite a drop in its YoY sales.
One of the most profitable and popular two-wheeler brands in India, Royal Enfield, put up a mixed show in April 2023. The brand sold 68,881 units in domestic markets in April 2023, in which it recorded 27.91 per cent YoY growth and 15.02 per cent MoM growth. While the Bullet 350, Meteor 350 and Himalayan posted positive YoY growths, the Classic 350, Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 suffered a drop in their YoY sales.
On the other hand, except for the Bullet 350 and Super Meteor 650, every model from Royal Enfield showed positive MoM growth in domestic sales. Meanwhile, exports for every model from Royal Enfield dropped in YoY and MoM figures. However, only the Himalayan posted a positive MoM growth in exports.
