The Updated 2023 TVS Raider Is Here!
News by Team Drivio | 17 Apr 2023
The punchy new TVS Raider features a more commuting-oriented single-seat, instead of the split-seat it got as standard earlier.
- In total, the TVS Raider is now on sale in 3 variants.
- Its 124cc engine still makes 11.3PS and 11.2Nm.
- Braking duties are handled by a telescopic fork and a monoshock.
TVS has introduced a new Raider version, priced at Rs 93,719 (ex-showroom Delhi). This makes it Rs 6,916 more expensive than the previous entry-level drum brake type (Rs 86,803, ex-showroom), which has been officially discontinued. The prices for each version are as follows:
TVS Raider Variant | Price (Ex-showroom Delhi) |
Single Seat | Rs 93,719 |
Split Seat | Rs 94,719 |
SX | Rs 1,00,820 |
The new entry-level, youthful TVS Raider now has a single-piece seat (as opposed to the split seats seen on the other variations) and is available in only one colour (Striking Red). Except for the obvious: the single seat, the new bike is identical to the other models in terms of design. While the split seat gives the bike a dynamic look, the one piece section gives it a more hearty commuting feel.
Aside from that, the bike is identical to the base Raider model that was previously available. It employs the same 124.8cc single-cylinder mill that produces 11.3PS and 11.2Nm. It has LED headlights and taillights, a halogen cluster, and an LCD console.
That said, its top-of-the-line trim gets a bright TFT console that includes Bluetooth and voice assistance. It has turn-by-turn navigation (including automatic routing to the next petrol station), weather updates, music control, call/message notifications and cricket score updates.
It competes with premium 125cc competitors such as the Honda SP125, Hero Glamour 125, Bajaj Pulsar NS125, and Keeway SR125.
