Yamaha MT-15 V2 Colours All Explained

News by Team Drivio | 11 Apr 2023

Of the six colours on sale for the Yamaha MT-15 V2, check out which one suits your needs the best.

  • The MT-15’s 155cc liquid-cooled, VVA-equipped engine makes 18.4PS and 14.1Nm.
  • It’s suspended on an inverted fork along with a monoshock.
  • And with all that premium hardware, it has looks to die for!

The MT-15 V2 has remained a sporty and modern-looking bike over the years. The golden USD fork has a new personality in its latest iteration! It not only gives it a more premium appearance, but it also gives it a proper street fighter stance.

The 2023 model is now available in five different colours. Dark Matte Blue and Metallic Black are the most recent additions to the MT-15 V2's colour palette. In addition to these, four existing paint schemes are available: Cyan Storm, Ice Fluo-Vermillion, Racing Blue, and Metallic Black DLX.

The Cyan Storm, Ice Fluo-Vermillion, and Metallic DLX paint schemes give the bike a two-tone appearance. The colours of the alloy and tank decals/extensions complement and contrast with the rest of the bodywork. This makes the bike more appealing than a single-tone option. If you prefer the latter, your options are Metallic Black, Racing Blue, and Dark Matte Blue.

Here’s how much each paint scheme would cost you:

Yamaha MT-15 V2 Colour SchemeCost (Ex-showroom Delhi)
Metallic BlackRs 1,64,900
Cyan StormRs 1,68,900
Ice Fluo-VermillionRs 1,68,900
Racing BlueRs 1,68,900
Metallic Black DLXRs 1,68,900

The Metallic Black paint scheme retails for a price lesser than the others for two reasons. Firstly, this variant still makes do with bulb-type indicators, something that looks out of place on an otherwise sporty-looking bike. And secondly, the bike misses out on Y-Connect, the Japanese brand’s smartphone connectivity application.
